Settings for Processing Installment
Plans
You must make the following settings for processing installment plans in the Financial Customer Care Interaction Center:

1. Under Interaction Center WebClient ® Industry-Specific Functions ® Integration with Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) ® Define Installment Plan Categories in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management:
Make sure the IDs you enter for the installment plan categories also exist in FI-CA. Define the installment plan categories under Business Transactions ® Deferral and Installment Plans ® Define Installment Plan Category in Customizing for Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable.
2. Under Interaction Center WebClient ® Industry-Specific Functions ® Integration with Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) ® Edit FI-CA Profiles in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management:
You can define the installment plan categories in this step in accordance with the Interaction Center agent’s profile. However, you should make sure that you have made the settings listed under 1.
You should only enter installment plan categories whose attributes have all been maintained in FI-CA in the profile (that is to say, all the parameters should be maintained, either the number of installments or installment amount), since the user can only select the installment plan category but cannot change the attributes of the selected category.
You also define the standard parameters for finding and creating installment plans (Settings view) in the activity Edit FI-CA Profiles. If you select the indicator for installment plan interest, please make sure that you have made the corresponding settings in Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (for example, posting areas 1084 and 1080).
