3. Enter the mapping according to the following recommendation:
For business partner data that you create in CRM as consumers, it is important to know whether the business partners are organizations (hereafter called Consumer: Organization) or persons (hereafter called Consumer: Person).
● Consumer: Organizations are replicated as customers and not as consumers in ERP. In this way the sales area data is copied from the reference business partner to the ERP system.
●
Consumer: Persons are distributed as consumers to the ERP system.
The sales area data for consumers is determined from ERP from the ERP
reference customer if necessary.
Use that ERP account group for the Consumer: Person that is intended for consumers in
ERP.

If you have maintained neither an ERP account group for consumers, nor an ERP reference customer, do not assign an ERP account group for this data, instead use the new account group for both organizations and persons.
Assign the ERP account group that is relevant for customers in the ERP system. This ERP account group is also assigned when the business partner is additionally classified as a Prospect and a Competitor in the CRM system.
Assign the ERP account group that is relevant for prospects in the ERP system. This is also assigned when the business partner is also classified as a Competitor in the CRM system.
Assign the ERP account group that is relevant for competitors in the ERP system.
