Updating the Mobile
Client
Before you can create subscriptions to the data, you need to generate scripts that upgrade the mobile client’s structure. You then need to exchange the metadata files on the mobile clients. You distribute the update via the middleware to the mobile clients.
...
1. Generate the scripts to update the mobile client by using the BDoc Upgrade Scripter.
2. Distribute the updates to the mobile clients using the Mobile Upgrade Console.
For more information, see the online help that is available in the Mobile Upgrade Console. You distribute the changes with the file BDOCUpgrade.rbn in the Mobile Upgrade Console.
The Mobile Upgrade Console is available on the Mobile Application Repository. For more information about the configuration of the Mobile Application Repository, see the installation guide for SAP CRM Mobile Client Component on SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/crm-inst.
For details on navigating in the SAP Service Marketplace, see Configuration of CRM Mobile.

The transport agent, which is a feature of the SAP Mobile Application Studio, is required to move data from the Mobile Application Repository server to the CRM Server and to update the mobile client. The transport agent ensures that all mobile clients that are subscribed for upgrade BDocs receive the upgrade the next time they connect to the server. For more information, see the installation guide for SAP CRM Mobile Client Component, Appendix E on SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/crm-inst.
