You can use this business function to enable a map that shows the location of accounts listed in the search result list.

  • You have activated the business function Visual Business (FND_VISUAL_BUSINESS).

  • After activating the business function Map Integration in Account Search Results (CRM_MAP_BP), you need to do the following:

    • Activate geocoding of the business partner address (see SAP Note 613647Information published on SAP site and related notes).

    • Register a geocoding program that determines the required geocoordinates.

      You do this in Customizing for SAP NetWeaver, under Start of the navigation path General Settings Next navigation step Set Geocoding End of the navigation path.

    • Set up map integration in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, under Start of the navigation path Master Data Next navigation step Business Partner Next navigation step Search Next navigation step Map Integration End of the navigation path.

Features

In the result list of an account search, a button is available that switches the list to a map view showing account locations. You can display selected accounts on the map or, if you do not select accounts, all accounts are displayed. You can see the account name by moving the mouse pointer over an account symbol. By clicking on the account symbol, you can see the account address and navigate to the account overview page.
