Extensibility for Intellectual Property Management
This function allows you to use the Application Enhancement Tool to add new fields to the CRM WebClient UI for the following applications:
License acquisition contract
License sales contract
Rights availability analysis
License usage confirmation
To use this function for the license usage confirmation application, you must activate the business function Intellectual Property Management (CRM_IPM_1).

Extensibility BAdI
For the rights availability analysis, you can use Business Add-In (BAdI) Field Extensibility
(CRM_IPM_RAA_SUMMARY_EXT
) to specify the data values for any new fields you add to the Criteria Fully Met
and Criteria
Partially Met
assignment blocks. These assignment blocks are available in the License to Third Party scenario for the rights availability analysis. For more information, see License to Third Party Request.
Limitations
You cannot add fields to the following:
Rights scope
Rights group
In addition, the system does not automatically check the input for the extended fields.
