This section is only relevant for Microsoft Outlook.

In SAP CRM, an appointment, task, or contact can have multiple employees responsible assigned. However, in Microsoft Outlook, only one employee responsible can be assigned to each item.

During synchronization from SAP CRM to Microsoft Outlook, if an item has multiple employees responsible assigned to it the main employee responsible is determined from SAP CRM and synchronized to Microsoft Outlook. In SAP CRM, the main employee responsible is defined in the Relationship assignment block (Standard checkbox).

For contacts, it is not mandatory to have a main employee defined in SAP CRM. In case of synchronization from SAP CRM to groupware, if no main employee responsible is defined, the first employee in the relationship data (Relationship assignment block) is assigned to the item in the groupware client.
