Financial Services Quotation

An offer to conclude a contract for financial services products in a specified time frame at a predefined price. Financial services products include consumer loans, mortgage loans, and collateral agreements. A financial services quotation can be copied or converted to a sales order in the back-end system.

A financial services quotation is based on business transaction type FS01 (FS Quotation). For more information about business transactions, see Business Transaction and Business Transaction Customizing.

You can use financial services quotations to confirm to your business partner that the bank will conclude the contract for the specified financial services products.

You create financial services quotations in SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) and enter the relevant data. The calculation functions that you use in financial services quotations are located in the connected back-end systems. When you have verified and approved the financial services quotation, the system creates the contract in the appropriate back-end system.

Integration

In Case Management, you can generate a financial services quotation from an opportunity or a case. The system transfers the data you entered in the opportunity or case to the quotation. For more information, see Case Management in Account Origination.
