You can change existing tables after the initial generation.


You have enabled the configuration mode in the general settings on the central personalization page of the WebClient UI.

There are applications that require that you activate a business function to make these functions for table enhancements available. For more information, see SAP Note 1448299Information published on SAP site.


Changing the Table
  1. Start the WebClient UI and select the application with the existing table.

  2. Start the page configuration in the application.

  3. Choose the Show Enhancements pushbutton.

  4. Select one enhanced object, if several enhanced objects are available.

  5. Click the hyperlink in the Enhancement ID field to enter the table details.

    You can also choose the Edit List pushbutton in the Tables block, to change an existing table.

  6. Change the table. You can change the table description.

  7. Save and generate your data.

Changing the Table Fields

You can also change the fields that belong to this table. However, you cannot change the logical key of the table later. This prevents data inconsistencies.
