SAP CRM for Utilities distinguishes BRFplus functions according to various usages, such as functions for configuration attributes and functions that are used to determine package components.

BRFplus functions are always assigned to a BRFplus application.

Product Validity

Product validity rules were introduced with enhancement package 1 for SAP CRM 7.0 to dynamically restrict the validity of a product during the sales process. Rules are assigned a validity period on the product overview page and are executed when a product is sold.

Recommendation: Use the options that are available as of Enhancement Package 3 for SAP CRM 7.0 in Product Modeling for the Utilities Industry (PMU) and the Product Finder and Configurator(PFC).

PL dynamically determines the default assignment and configuration of sub components for utilities packages and PDOs.

CC controls the assignment of components to hierarchical products.

CG

Attribute group presentation control

CG controls visibility of the attribute group and the way in which it can be expanded and collapsed. You can also influence the group description text and the group icon.

CS

Simple condition

CS was introduced with enhancement package 1 as a new condition type. You can define a standard value for attribute B according to attribute value A directly in the assignment group. This is now outdated and is no longer supported as of EHP3.

Attribute presentation control

CR dynamically controls display of the attribute. You can control the Mandatory, Render Type. and Changeabilty indicators.

Pricing Manager Usage
