To analyze different survey versions, you need to map SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) survey objects (questionnaires, questions, and answer options) to common catalog objects. The catalog objects are used later as common attributes in reporting. You can use the assignment tool to map survey objects to catalog objects.
The transaction for this tool in SAP NetWeaver BI is CRM_SVY_CAT_ASSIGN
.
You have:
Created catalog objects with the survey catalog maintenance tool
Loaded the SAP CRM survey templates to SAP NetWeaver BI (master data and texts for questionnaires, questions and answers)
A questionnaire is compounded to an application. Therefore, you select an application before selecting a survey. Then you should select the survey and the catalogs you want to map bearing in mind that all the input fields are mandatory. If you assigned a survey to a questionnaire in the catalog, and the questionnaire has now been deleted, you need to assign the survey to a new questionnaire in the catalog.
For each question, you:
Check the box if the question is part of a campaign.
Select the type of question.
Map the question to a catalog.
Note
Any survey question that was assigned to a catalog question, which is now deleted must be assigned to a new 'non-obsolete' question in the catalog. Obsolete catalog questions are not displayed in the assignment tool.
For each answer, you must:
If the answer is the default answer to the question, check the box Map the answer to the catalog.
If you assigned a survey answer to a catalog answer that has now been deleted, then you must assign the survey answer to a 'non-obsolete' answer in the catalog.
To start, you map a questionnaire template to a questionnaire in the catalog. Then, you map each question in the survey to a question in the catalog. Finally, you map the answer options to the questions. The survey tool also allows you to maintain some of the questionnaires', questions' and answers' master data attributes, for example, a:
Question as part of a campaign flag (0WS_CMP
)
Technical type of question (0WS_QTYP
)
Default answer checkbox Questionnaire ID
(0WS_QSTRID
,
which is filled automatically, corresponds to the first seven characters of 0WS_QSTNNR
)
Note
You can only assign one questionnaire template to one questionnaire in the catalog. The aim of this assignment is that the catalog objects also become navigational attributes of survey objects.
Save and activate
You can only save in the
answer assignment screen of the assignment tool. It only displays active master
data. If you make any changes without activating the data, you cannot view
these changes when you exit and re-enter the transaction. You can activate
the data from the Data Warehousing Workbench
in SAP
NetWeaver BI.
Authorization check
Each time you start this
transaction, the system checks for the authorization object S_TCODE
automatically.
If you use the profile generator to generate your authorization profiles automatically,
the authorization for the object S_TCODE
are
contained in the profiles.
Note
If you call the transaction indirectly, that is, from another transaction,
the authorization check is not performed automatically. Use transaction se97
for
maintaining transaction call authorizations, as described above.
