Item Assessment
This function allows you to perform a final assessment of the various benefit items for social applications and social service plans. The use of the item assessment and the effect of an item assessment status on subsequent processes are not predefined by SAP.
The item assessment is manually set by a caseworker as the execution status in the respective items of the Social Application
and Social Service Plan
applications. Alternatively, you can instruct the system to define the status.
You define the item assessment made by the system in an item assessment strategy in Customizing.
The following statuses are available to you for the item assessment:
Social Application |
Accepted (SOA) Rejected (SOA) |
Social Service Plan |
Released (SSP) Rejected (SSP) |
The item assessment is evaluated during Successor Processing for social applications and social service plans created from social applications. The copying of transaction items from the predecessor transaction into the successor transaction is defined in the item copy strategy used there.
SAP provides two item copy strategies:
Item copy strategy PS_01: Copies all items.
Item copy strategy PS_02: Copies all items with the status Accepted (SOA)
.
Example
You can use the item copy strategy to stipulate that only social application items with the status Accepted (SOA)
are transferred as items into the relevant social service plan for further processing.
You evaluate the item assessment status of social service plan items for transfer to a billing system in the same way.
If you create a social service plan manually, the item assessment is determined manually by the caseworker, or by the item assessment strategy you have defined in Customizing. If you create a follow-up social service plan, the item assessment for the relevant items is copied to the new social service plan.
You can only create social service plans manually if you have activated the business function Social Services - Benefit Calculation (CRM_IPS_4S_1
).
You make the item assessment settings in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management
