With this function you can display statistics on the message flow within CRM middleware.

You call this function from your SAP Easy Access menu, via Start of the navigation path Architecture and Technology Next navigation step Middleware Next navigation step Monitoring Next navigation step Message Flow Next navigation step Display Message Flow Statistics End of the navigation path.

Features

The statistics provided by this function are divided into two main areas:

Activities

After you have called the function Display message flow statistics, check first that the statistics are activated, via Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Activate statistics End of the navigation path. To do this, proceed as follows:

  • If you want to check whether the application statistics from the ERP kernel have been activated, choose Kernel application statistics.

    In the displayed list of application statistics, the row Middleware Message Hub Statistic is relevant. If the checkbox in column active is selected, these application statistics are already active, and you can return to the previous screen. If not, select Change, confirm the displayed information, select the field in the column active, then save your entries and return to the previous screen.

    Note Note

    If you are activating the middleware message hub statistics for the first time, the corresponding row is displayed in change mode only.

    Note Note

    So that the statistics are actually activated, you must have first scheduled the background job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR, which regularly executes the ABAP program RSCOLL00. For more information about setting up the data collector RSCOLL00, see the CCMS documentation under Configuring the Data Collector.

  • If you want to check whether the statistics for BDoc types, sites, and queues have been activated, choose Middleware message flow statistics.

    You can switch the creation of statistics on and off by using Switch on/off.

    Note Note

    When the status is On, the background job RSMWM_BSTAT_COLLECTOR is automatically scheduled (status Collector: On). This job makes sure that the data collector of the same name is regularly executed. If the collector has status Collector: Off, you must schedule the job manually.

If the statistics are activated, return to the screen Display message flow statistics and select the required statistics.
