You can change the status of a product by choosing Status
.
The following options are available:
Release Version
Changing the status to Release Version
changes the status of the product to Released
. The system saves the product and it appears in the display mode. If you have made this change from the status In Process
, the system defines an activation date. If this change is made from the Active for Testing
status, the system overwrites the activation date with the current date.
Retrieve Version
The status change Retrieve Version
changes the status of the product from Active for Testing
back to In Process.
The version number is not changed here. The system saves the product and it appears in the display mode.
New Version
Changing the status to New Version
changes the status of the product to In Process
and returns the product to the change mode. The version number is changed.
Set Active for Testing
The status change Set Active for Testing
changes the status of the product to Active for Testing
. The system saves the product and it appears in the display mode. An activation date is set.
Set Version to Obsolete
The status change Set Version to Obsolete
changes the status of the product to Obsolete
. The system saves the product and it appears in the display mode. If you perform this status change from the In Process
status, the system defines an activation date. If you perform this status change from the Active for Testing
status, the system overwrites the activation date with the current date. Product versions with the status Released
cannot be set to Obsolete
.
