Conditions include fixed license fees, advances and minimum guarantees. In contrast to price agreements, these payments are not dependent on confirmed values, such as the box office takings, but are recorded in license contracts directly as a fixed amount.
Note
The user interface does not refer specifically to conditions and price agreements. These are technical objects in the system that require different Customizing.
You record conditions by adding a new flat fee to the royalties rates in your license contracts at item level within a rights and royalties or royalties scope, or in an advance group. Conditions are only valid for the royalties item in which they were maintained.
Note
Header conditions are not supported in Intellectual
Property Management
.
Fixed conditions affect the net value of the item immediately.
Note
License acquisition
and license
sales contracts
use different condition types. These are found
in the SAP Customizing settings provided.
