In SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM), it is not sufficient simply to examine events in the past. It is equally important to be able to recognize trends, spot behavior patterns, and customer preferences early on, and to use these insights. You can use intelligent methods such as data mining, to process the data collected in SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) (see Measure Performance) and to make predictions about future trends.

SAP NetWeaver BI provides you with general data mining methods such as Clustering, Decision Tree, Association Analysis, and Scoring.
