Much of the decision-making in marketing, sales, and service necessarily involves targets and depends largely on budgets and planning figures. This is why CRM Analytics provides you with flexible planning applications, some of which are embedded in the operational processes. Opportunity, campaign, or promotion planning, for example, is seamlessly connected to the corresponding data entry. At the same time, these plans represent components of the superordinate applications Sales Planning and Enterprise Planning, which build on more operational plans.

Integration

The planning applications in SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) use the component Business Planning and Simulation (BW-BPS), the planning technology delivered with SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI). This means that you can use the actual data that you extracted from your SAP CRM system into SAP NetWeaver BI for measuring performance. Subsequently, you can also run a direct plan/actual comparison. Furthermore, the shared data basis in SAP NetWeaver BI enables the CRM planning applications to be integrated with each other. Features

You can choose from a range of planning applications to assist you in your planning tasks for your customer relationships. For these planning applications, SAP delivers example scenarios that use objects in BW-BPS.
