Using actions (in the Post Processing Framework) you can schedule and start any subsequent processing steps depending on the case type, as well as the various scheduling and start conditions. Examples of subsequent processing steps may be sending e-mails or starting workflows. You can also stipulate that a specific ABAP coding is executed.

Actions

The actions you can perform are:

  • Creating an action profile with action definitions; in the action definitions, you define the action characteristics, such as the processing time or whether the action is modifiable in the document (case)

  • Defining conditions for the action definitions (scheduling and start conditions)

  • Assigning the action profile to the desired case type

  • Assign the partner determination for actions using a Business Add-In (BAdI)
