You can use the Application Enhancement Tool to define your own tables that meet your company's business requirements. Tables that you add to an application are made available as new assignment blocks in the corresponding application. You can use the tool to create, change, and delete custom tables, which do not belong to the standard delivery.

There are applications that require that you activate a business function to make the functions for table enhancements available. For more information, see SAP Note 1448299.
