Caution
You establish the connection to external systems using consumer proxies only for banking customer quotes.
For FS quotations, you establish the connection to external systems using CRM Middleware. For more information, see Connection to External Systems Using CRM Middleware.
To use this function, you must activate the business function CRM-FS, Guided Loan Origination Process
(CRM_FS_NBRNWL_1
).
To connect external systems to SAP CRM, account origination provides the following consumer proxies. These consumer proxies are used when the product variant of a banking customer quote is processed (for example, to calculate standard prices, to retrieve collateral information, or to calculate a payment plan).
To use the consumer proxies, you must establish a connection to the corresponding provider services. Messages can be sent and received either using the XI runtime or the Web service runtime.
In a standard scenario, the SAP CRM consumer services are (for example) mapped to external operations offered by a LoanQuoteVariant
process object.
The following table contains the consumer service interfaces and operations available for the mapping with a provider service interface.
Note
For an example mapping of the service interfaces in CRM and banking services from SAP, see SAP Note 1866377.

The onboarding process is triggered via an outbound agent in the connected contract-managing system.
In a standard scenario, the SAP CRM consumer interface for the onboarding process is (for example) connected to an external service interface for a NewLoanBoarding
process object.
