To model utilities packages and product determination objects, you must first assign product components to them. You can then define a component condition to dynamically control the way in which packages are expanded.
This assignment automatically creates a row for the rule line in the group Assigned Next Level Components
. This can be modified at a later stage.
We recommend using the following procedure to assign additional product components to product packages or product determnation objects using component conditions:
Navigate to the Product Modeling for Utilities
overview page for the product required and switch to the editing mode.
In the hierarchy tree for the product components, choose Insert Component
.
Select the corresponding product in the product search dialog and choose Select.
The system inserts the new component in the component hierarchy.
Define a component condition if you want to dynamically control the way in which packages are expanded.
Save your changes.
