Process documentationChecks for Release Dates Relevance

You can use this process to perform a series of checks to determine whether the release dates are relevant to an intellectual property (IP).

Process

  1. You do one of the following:

    • Display an IP

    • Perform the rights availability analysis

    • Perform a collision check

  2. The system checks whether the IP has a generation formula assigned.

  3. If a generation formula is assigned, the system reads the availability profile and determines whether the release dates are active or inactive.

  4. If there is no generation formula assigned, or if the generation formula does not contain an availability profile, the system checks the product category.

  5. If the product category contains availability profile, the system determines whether the release dates are active or inactive.

  6. If no availability profile is assigned, the system activates the release dates by default.
