You can use the business role Customizing to tailor the navigation frame of your business roles to your personal requirements.

Prerequisites

To start the business role Customizing in the CRM WebClient, you need to include a link in the navigation bar of your business role. You have assigned the logical link CT-BR-SR to the work center link group CT-ADM-SR, in Customizing for UI Framework under Start of the navigation path Technical Role Definition Next navigation step Define Navigation Bar Profile End of the navigation path.

Customizing in SAP GUI

You access the business role Customizing in SAP GUI, by choosing Start of the navigation path UI Framework Next navigation step Technical Role Definition End of the navigation path and Start of the navigation path UI Framework Next navigation step Business Roles End of the navigation path.

Customizing in the CRM WebClient UI

You access the business role Customizing in the CRM WebClient by clicking a link in the navigation bar of your business role. The business role application consists of a search page and an overview page. The overview page contains the header block Business Role Details, with the General Data and Profiles areas. In the General Data area you find general information, such as business role ID and description, role configuration key, and the assigned authorization role (PFCG role). In the Profiles area, you see all profiles that are assigned to your business role, such as navigation bar profile, layout profile, and technical profile. Under the header block you can see the following assignment blocks on the overview page:

  • Navigation Bar

  • Direct Link Groups

  • Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Central Search

  • Function Profiles

In the header block of your business role you can change the business role details. In the assignment block you can customize the navigation bar, assign function profiles, and adjust central search objects.
