Copying Existing Skins and Images
Before you can adjust skins to your personal requirements, you need to copy existing SAP skins.
When you copy SAP skins for the first time, you need to create a BSP application beforehand.
Enter transaction code SE80 and create a BSP application, for example, ZTHTMLB_STYLES.
Create a BSP application and import the CSS file.
Start the Skin Workbench.
You access the Skin Workbench in Customizing for UI Framework
under .
Select a skin and click Copy SAP Skin
.
Select the BSP application and enter a skin name, and a skin description.
You can decide if the skin is automatically made available on the central personalization page of the WebClient UI.
The copied skin is displayed below the SAP skins in the Skin Workbench. You can adjust the copied skin to your needs by using the context menu. You can display all images in a skin folder, or preview and display the properties of individual objects.
You can use the following procedure to copy images of skins if you have installed Microsoft Windows XP on your computer.
Note
Using Microsoft Windows Explorer, you can only copy images of skins, but not the skins.
Start Microsoft Windows Explorer on your local computer.
Choose .
The Add Network Place Wizard
is started.
Enter the following Internet or network address with the correct entry for your server: http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/bsp_dev/sap/thtmlb_styles/?sap-client=<client>
Example
http://cc3.musterag.com:40000/sap/bc/bsp_dev/sap/thtmlb_styles/?sap-client=100
Create a new folder on your local drive or on a server.
Copy the SAP image from Web Folders
and paste it to the new folder.
Caution
If you use a local folder, your adjusted image will later be available for other users on the personalization page of the WebClient UI. However, it will not be loaded correctly, because the other users do not have access to the drive on your personal computer.
