assign it to a new organizational model, if it doesn't belong to it already
move it, this means ending the current assignment in the organizational model and carrying out a new assignment in the organizational model
reposition it, this means reposition it within a hierarchy level
You have already created an organizational model and there may already be other organizational units that do not belong to this organizational model.
You have familiarized yourself with the validity. Choose the required key date and preview period.
Choose an organizational model, for example, the root organizational unit of the organizational model which you would like to restructure
Search for an organizational unit that already exists but doesn't yet belong to this organizational model.
Select one of the organizational units from this area.
Assign an organizational unit to a higher level organization unit and check the validity of the assignment.

Select the organizational unit in the overview area that you want to move.
You can also select this organizational unit in the selection area if it is listed there.
Move an organizational unit over to one in that it is to be assigned to, in future.
The organizational unit is assigned to the higher-level organizational unit. You can check the validity of the assignment.
Save with
Select the organizational unit in the overview area that you want to reposition.
Choose the Up or Down arrow to position the organizational unit higher up in the hierarchy level. Choose , if you want to position the organizational unit lower down in the hierarchy level.
The organizational unit is repositioned. As you have merely moved the sequence in a hierarchy level, the date of your assignment remains the same.
