Short Descriptions and Long Texts in Multiple Languages
You can maintain long texts of problems and solutions in several languages without having to log on in that language. The short description is created automatically from the first 40 characters of the long text.
Prerequisites
Your system administrator must define languages for the SDB, SDB_PROBLEMS,
and SDB_SOLUTIONS knowledge bases in Customizing for Customer
Relationship Management
, by choosing 
Enterprise
Intelligence
Software Agent Framework
Name and Configure Knowledge Base
.
The languages must be supported by the search engine TREX. For more information, see Software Agent Framework (SAF).
Activities
Access problem or solution maintenance (see Solution Database).
Choose
Multilingual Texts
.In the dialog box that appears, choose a language from the possible entries.
If the possible entries do not include the language you require, we recommend asking your system administrator to define that language (see Prerequisites).
Press Enter on your keyboard.
Click the long text icon that appears and enter a long text in the editor.
Formatting of text is not supported.
