With this business function, you can accelerate the initial upload of extensive business data from SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) to SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (NetWeaver BW).

This business function also enables the upload of CRM business data to external systems.

You have made the required Customizing settings for the DataSources that allow the accelerated business data upload. For more information, see Customizing for SAP CRM under Start of the navigation path CRM Analytics Next navigation step Set Parameters for Accelerated CRM BW Data Extraction End of the navigation path.

Secondary Indexes

For the accelerated release of the transaction history in the initial upload, we recommend that you activate the following secondary indexes in the view Additional Attributes: Object Interlinkage VONA (CRMD_BRELVONAE):

  • Search for predecessors (PRE)

  • Search for successors (SUC)

You can use the ABAP Dictionary (transaction SE11) to process the indexes: Call up the dictionary for CRMD_BRELVONAE, and select Indexes....

Features

NetWeaver BW DataSources

The accelerated business data upload is available for the following NetWeaver BW DataSources:

  • CRM Opportunity Item (0CRM_OPPT_I)

  • Activities (0CRM_SALES_ACT_1)

Note Note

If you use an external interface connection (XIF), the accelerated initial upload provides only the following business transaction information to the named NetWeaver BW DataSources:

  • Status

  • Date

  • Partner

The business data upload to external systems is available for the following DataSources of CRM interactive reports:

  • OLTP opportunity transactional data (/CRMBW/OLTP_OPPORTUNITY_ITEM)

  • OLTP activity transactional data (/CRMBW/OLTP_ACTIVITY)
