This is the initial status when a fund usage is created.

Budget reservations such as pre-reserved or reserved are allowed.

No other postings, for example, accrual balance, settlements, approved claims are possible.

No accruals are relevant so far, and updates from the reference, such as a trade promotion (TP), marketing campaign, or market development fund (MDF) initiative, are possible.

You can cancel a fund usage with this status if the corresponding reference is deleted.

All postings are allowed.

Reference-based fund usages are automatically set to Released according to the configuration set up for the reference, such as the TP, marketing campaign, or MDF initiative. Fund usages for a TP or campaign, for example, are set to Released when the TP or campaign reaches a status that the user has predefined (for example, Released). A fund usage for a MDF is immediately set to Released when it is created by a reservation or a claim.

Updates from the reference are possible for fund usages with this status. Accruals and settlements are also possible.

Fund-based fund usages are set to Released when the corresponding fund is released.

Cannot cancel a released fund usage in case there are subsequent settlements.

This status can be triggered when the user chooses Balance Fund Usages.

If the fund usage does not accrue or reserve, it is immediately set to Balanced when it is created.

When a fund usage has this status, updates from the reference are no longer possible. Accruals are also not possible, and the fund usage is no longer taken into account for accrual calculations. Settlements and archiving are still possible, however.

This status is set automatically when the reference is canceled (for example, if the trade promotion is rejected).

Updates, accruals, and settlements are no longer possible. Archiving, however, is still possible.

This status is set automatically when the fund usage has been archived.
