You can use this business function to increase your control over the decision-making process of a social service plan in social services.

Features

Entitlement Determination

The system automatically determines the list of entitlements (benefits and according periods) for a beneficiary for a particular benefit program, based on business rules. You can also manually trigger the determination of entitlements. For more information, see Entitlement Determination and Calculation.

Entitlement Calculation

The system automatically calculates the entitlement amounts for your benefits, based on business rules. You can also manually trigger the calculation of entitlement amounts, or you can manually enter entitlement amounts for your entitlements. For more information, see Entitlement Determination and Calculation.

Manual Adjustment

You can assess and adjust the benefit decision, and either update the benefit decision or manually create new entitlement items before you approve the benefit decision.

Gross Payment Item Determination

The system automatically determines whether there are previous payments that apply to your current entitlement items, and the amounts that must be paid. These previous payments can result in an overpayment or underpayment on the entitlement items of your current plan. For more information, see Gross Payment Item Determination.

Net Display

You can preview your planned payments or see details of your finalized planned payments before you approve them, depending on when you execute net display during the decision-making process.

Create Follow-Up Social Service Plan

You can create a follow-up version of your social service plan using delta logic, when changes are necessary to, for example, the decision period. For more information, see Change Processes in Social Services.

Entitlement Adjustment

The system automatically retrieves and creates entitlement items from previous social service plans that are relevant for the current social service plan. For more information, see Entitlement Adjustment.

Social Deduction Plans

In a social deduction plan, you can monitor deductions from the benefits of a social service plan at the request of, for example, a beneficiary or the municipality. You may want to deduct from social service plan benefits if there has occurred an overpayment, or you may want to deduct expenses, such as rent payments. You can do the following with social deduction plans:

  • Create a social deduction plan manually or search for a social deduction plan

  • Create deduction plan items

  • Assign your social deduction plans to cases

  • Execute change processes to your social deduction plans and deduction plan items

  • Display your deduction amounts before you approve them using Net Display

  • Approve or reject a social deduction plan
