Use

The QIN Scheduler processes qRFC inbound queues and controls the processing of inbound qRFC calls.

Features
  • The QIN Scheduler can process both inbound queues from external systems and internal qRFC calls that are to be executed locals on the same system or application server.

  • The QIN Scheduler runs principally on the user entered in the registered queue. You can, however, specify your own user data for processing LUWs in a registered Queue.

  • Normally, all LUWs written to the inbound queue are not automatically executed. Each application can activate these queues using defined APIs.

  • Also create a Scheduler for a qRFC application to activate the required queues.

Activities

The QIN Scheduler is administered using transaction SMQR. You have the following options for administering the inbound queue::

Using the QIN Scheduler you can execute the following for inbound queues:

  • registration

  • deregistration

  • activation

  • Deactivating

    Note

From transaction SMQR, you can use the qRFC Monitor pushbutton to branch directly to transaction SMQ2 for monitoring the inbound queue. Here you can monitor the processing status of individual LUWs in an inbound queue.
