Searching for, Displaying and Printing ERP Sales Transactions
If you want to provide your customer with information on the current status of a sales order that has already been created, you can use the Search function to locate transactions quickly, and forward the necessary information to the customer immediately. In addition, this function allows you to enter changes requested by the customer quickly and easily in the sales transaction.
You can display ERP sales transactions, that is, ERP quotations, ERP sales orders and ERP quantity contracts, related to the relevant account on the Account
overview page, under the corresponding assignment blocks. This allows you to gain an overview of all existing
ERP sales transactions for a specific customer, for example, in preparation for a customer visit.
Sales representatives can also create new ERP sales transactions, edit or delete existing ERP sales transactions from these assignment blocks. When you create a new ERP sales transaction from here, the Sold-to Party
field is automatically filled with the account
from the Account
overview page. Once you save and return to the Account
overview page, the newly created ERP sales transaction appears in the relevant assignment block.
Data retrieval parameters are delivered for each of these assignment blocks, which enable you to filter which data you want to display on the corresponding assignment blocks. For example, you may only want to display ERP sales orders with posting dates for last month.
The following data retrieval parameters are available for the corresponding assignment blocks:
ERP Quotations: Posting Date, Transaction Type
, Valid From/To
ERP Sales Orders: Posting Date, Transaction Type
ERP Quantity Contracts: Transaction Type, Valid From/To
For more information on data retrieval parameters, see Configurable Data Retrieval.
To use this function, you must activate the business function Sales and Service (CRM_SLS_SRV_1
).
You can print ERP sales transactions, that is, ERP quotations, ERP sales orders and ERP quantity contracts from SAP CRM. This allows sales representatives to preview, save or print ERP transactions in order to check them, share them with their team, or file them to their documents. It is not intended for sales representatives to send transactions directly to their customers; this will continue to be done from SAP ERP.
Once you have saved the ERP sales transaction in SAP CRM, you can use the Preview Output
pushbutton for a print preview with a PDF viewer. You can also save locally or print out the preview using a PDF viewer. To print ERP sales transactions, you can choose the
output type set up in SAP ERP, including PDF-based print forms, SAPscript and Smart Forms. No specific Customizing settings are required for this in SAP ERP.
