This role supports you with managing incidents and accidents in your company. In addition to accidents in their exact sense, you can also manage accidents without injury to persons (known as incidents) and 'near-accidents.'

If you want to transfer data from the electronic injury/illness log in your enterprise, you must have proposed injury/illness log entries for transfer first.

For you to be able to specify any persons involved in an accident, depending on their status they must have been entered in the SAP System in human resources (employees and applicants) or in incident/accident management or Occupational Health (business partners).

To be able to use integration in logistics functions when you specify damage to equipment, functional locations and equipment must have been entered. You must have assigned them in the work area management role (SAP_EHS_IHS_WORKAREA) to the work area in which the accident occurred.

You need this role to specify the information content and layout of the documents (reports) you require.

MiniApps

Data Transfer from the Injury/Illness Log (IHS_TASKLIST)

A MiniApp is available to use for transferring data from the injury/illness log in Occupational Health. It displays the injury/illness log entries from which data can be transferred to the incident/accident log and allows you to accept or reject the data.

1000-Employee Quota (IHS_STAT)

Using this MiniApp you can determine the accident rate both for the whole enterprise and also for individual personnel areas.
