You can use this business function to provide talent development specialists with additional reports to give them an overview of key positions and their staffing with successors from the company's Talent Pool.

Integration

You can include the queries in addition to the queries assigned in the Talent Development Specialist portal role. The portal role is part of the Business Package for Talent Development Specialist.

The Talent Management queries mainly comprise Succession Planning processes that are enhanced with processes from SAP E-Recruiting, Performance Management, Personnel Administration, and Organizational Management.

  • You have activated this business function in the system in which you have installed SAP E-Recruiting.

  • You have manually integrated the new queries into the Workset: Reports of the Talent Development Specialist portal role. For more information, see the release note HCM_TM_ANALYTICS_1: Business Function HCM, Talent Management Analytics 1 (new).

Features

The new queries provide the talent development specialist with answers to the following questions, for example:

  • What was the quality of succession planning in the company like in the past?

  • Were the holders of the key positions predefined as successors for these or other positions according to Succession Planning?

The talent development specialist can use the Calibration Grid query to compare employees based on criteria groups and then represent this two-dimensionally in a graph or table. The criteria groups contain employee data about the potential and performance estimations from Performance Management, for example.

The BI Content supports the talent development specialist when checking, and if necessary, optimizing the efficiency of the succession planning processes in his or her company.
