Human Capital Management(EA-HR)

You can use this business function to activate additional concurrent employment functions for personnel time management. With the functions contained here, you can greatly simplify the fundamental processes for recording, managing, and evaluating time data of concurrent employees. This shortens the amount of time you time administrators and concurrent employees need to complete time management tasks.

  • You have activated the concurrent employment functions in your system. For more information, see Concurrent Employment.

  • The prerequisites that follow are only relevant if you want to be able to use the functions corresponding to them:

    • Time Accounts and Leave Overview

      • You use the Employee Self-Service application Time Accounts and/or the Employee Self-Service application Absence Request.

      • You have installed HR Support Package 22 for SAP ERP 6.0. Additional developments for concurrent employees for plotting absence quotas are contained in this Support Package.

    • Time Evaluation:

      • You use Time Evaluation for Concurrent Employment (Report RPTIME01).

    • Time Sheet:

      • You use the Employee Self-Service application CATS Regular/Recording of Working Times (Web Dynpro).

      • You have installed the business function CATS Classic for Concurrent Employment and its technical usage.

Features

Time Manager’s Workplace

In the multi-person view and team view, you can process or display time data for all of a concurrent employee's time accounts at the same time on one application interface.

When processing in the single day and multiday views, the enhanced functions in the employee list help you to easily select and process the personnel assignments. For more information, see Time Manager’s Workplace for Concurrent Employment.

Time Evaluation for Concurrent Employment

The following operations and functions are available for processing through time evaluations for concurrent employment.

  • Function PERT (processing the error table)

  • Function DPTOL (tolerances in the daily work schedule)

Time Accounts and Leave Overview

Cross-Application Time Sheet (CATS)

The Concurrent Employment enhancements for the cross-application time sheet enable concurrent employees in the Employee Self-Service application CATS regular to maintain time data for all of their assignments with one system logon.
