Technical name: SAP_PP_PI_CTRL_RECIPE_EXP

You can use this role to call up the control recipe monitor. Here, you can monitor and manually send created control recipes. You cannot use this role to delete control recipes.

You can send the following types of control recipes:

• Control recipes that are sent to a destination of type 1 (ABAP list-based PI sheet)
• Control recipes that are sent to a destination of type 4 (browser-based PI sheet)

You need a separate authorization to be able to send control recipes to a destination of type 4. This authorization (BC-SRV-KPR-BDS: Authorization for document set; authorization object S_BDS_DS) is included in this role.

Apart from sending control recipes manually from within the control recipe monitor, you can also define a background job to send them automatically. You define background jobs for sending control recipes in Customizing for Process Management under Control Recipes/PI Sheets.
