Injury/Illness Log

Technical name: SAP_EHS_IHS_INJURYLOG

Tasks

You use this role to keep an electronic injury/illness log. In this log you can enter first aid measures administered following accidents (in accordance with legal requirements) as well as any other medical treatment given (for example, medications).

Integration

For you to be able to enter in the injury/illness log any persons involved in an event, depending on their status they must have been entered in the SAP System in human resources (employees and applicants) or in incident/accident management or Occupational Health (business partners). You enter them using the following roles:

HR Administrator and Administrator for HR Funds and Position Management

Business Partners – Industrial Hygiene and Safety (SAP_EHS_IHS_BUSINESSPARTNER) and Business Partners – Occupational Health (SAP_EHS_OH_BUPT)

You can transfer data from injury/illness log entries to the incident/accident log in the Incident/Accident Management role (SAP_EHS_IHS_INCIDENTLOG). The prerequisite for this is that you must have set a control indicator for the different injury/illness log entry types when you set up the system, which permits the data transfer.
