Tasks

In this role, you determine the cost of goods manufactured and the cost of goods sold for materials without reference to an order. The costing process uses BOMs and routings or master recipes in the system. The calculated costs can be transferred into the material master as the standard price, commercial price, tax price, or other planned price. You can include additive costs in the cost estimate. You can use costing runs to process mass data.

Note

Two versions of each MiniApp are assigned to this role. The Web Add-On versions are on the MiniApps tab, while the versions supplied with R/3 release 4.6C are under Goto ® MiniApps until component release 4.6C. You can only choose one of the versions if you are using R/3 Release 4.6C. Otherwise you must use the Web Add-On version and delete the other version under Goto → MiniApps until component release 4.6C.
