The business function FICA_EF is a prerequisite for the Public Sector scenario Grantor Management.

Prerequisites

The business function FICA_EF and the business function set PUBLIC_SERVICES (Industry Extension Public Sector) are active.

You plan budget on the basis of Funds Management account assignments or controlling account assignments.

If you want to post earmarked funds with reference to Funds Management account assignments, the business function FICA_FM must also be active.

Features

The business function allows you to use earmarked funds from Public Sector Management (PSM-FM-PO-EF) in integration with Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA).

This enables you to reserve budget for expenditure processe and perform an active availability check on the basis of existing earmaked funds.
