This business function enables you to use the enhancements of the Business Packages for Production Supervisor for the processes in the area of shop floor control. The role of production supervisor enables you to gain a quick overview of strategic and operational key figures and the current situation in the plant. Using this information, you can carry out the necessary follow-up activities in good time.

You can now use the role of production supervisor in discrete manufacturing, in the process industry, and in repetitive manufacturing. Employees assigned to the portal role Production Supervisor have easy access in the portal to comprehensive manufacturing information and shop floor control functions for the monitoring and control of the production process. New worksets and new personal worklists optimize the way you work and a wide range of services simplify and accelerate your activities in shop floor control.

Features

The following new worksets and iViews facilitate the monitoring and control of your production processes:

Workset Shift Reports
The new workset Shift Reports enables you to create and process shift reports. Furthermore, you can create maintenance notifications, maintenance orders, and quality notifications, and carry out a personnel evaluation.
Workset Planning Situation
The new workset Planning Situation gives the production supervisor an overview of problems that are already discernible in the planning phase, enabling him or her to respond accordingly to ensure a smooth production process. In particular, you can use the new iView Sales Orders Subject to Delay to create a list showing delayed sales orders.

Workset Confirmation
The confirmation in the portal has been enhanced so that you can now enter confirmations not only for production orders but also for process orders and planned orders. In addition, it is now possible to show customers' own fields and pushbuttons in the iViews for the confirmation.
