You can use this business function to implement improvements to the debt management processing in the SAP US Federal Government (PSM-FG) solution, including the provision of alternative methods of debt repayment.

To use any of the features in the PSM-FG solution, you must first activate it. To do this, go to Customizing and choose Public Sector Management —> Functions for US Federal Government —>General Settings —>Activate Federal Government Functionality.

Features

The Business Function enables the use of a new reporting capability which allows the provision of alternate repayment options for customer invoices and contains the following features:

  • Selection of existing receivables and related documents and fees in an interactive mode for managing debt rescheduling agreements

  • Flexible calculation of installment terms, intervals, and interest rates

  • Specific correspondence containing rescheduling terms available for correspondence with customer

  • Report available for viewing current status of receivables and rescheduling

  • Integration with Treasury report
