You can use this business function to implement improvements to the debt management processing in the SAP US Federal Government (PSM-FG) solution, including the provision of alternative methods of debt repayment.

To use any of the features in the PSM-FG solution, you must first activate it. To do this, go to Customizing and choose Public Sector Management —> Functions for US Federal Government —>General Settings —>Activate Federal Government Functionality.
The Business Function enables the use of a new reporting capability which allows the provision of alternate repayment options for customer invoices and contains the following features:
Selection of existing receivables and related documents and fees in an interactive mode for managing debt rescheduling agreements
Flexible calculation of installment terms, intervals, and interest rates
Specific correspondence containing rescheduling terms available for correspondence with customer
Report available for viewing current status of receivables and rescheduling
Integration with Treasury report
