Master Data – Specification

Technical name: SAP_EHS_WA_WASTE_SPEZIFICATION

Tasks

The task of this role is to edit the specification data for wastes. This includes physical-chemical data and safety data, as well as data that results from regulations and laws.

Activities in Product Safety

Typical activities here for this role are:

Creating specifications
Changing specification data, such as identifiers and value assignments
Assigning specifications to materials
Assigning waste codes to the waste specifications

Integration

You can use the Data Transfer, External – Waste Management role (SAP_EHS_WA_DATATRANSFER) to create the first database for your SAP System to fill with data, or to update specification data.

You create waste codes using the Waste Codes role and waste materials using the Maintain Material Master Data role.
