You can use this Business Function (BF) to implement improvements to processing of reimbursable orders in the Federal Government solution.

Before using this Business Function, you need to configure messages FICUSTOM 234 and 235. To do this in Customizing, choose Public Sector Management -> Funds Management Government -> Basic Settings -> Change Message Control and make the required configuration entries.

Features

The Business Function offers the following features:

  • Previously, Funds Management (FM) was updated by saving a sales order. The timing of the FM update is now configurable.

  • Previously, a sales order for a non-Federal customer generated a hard error message. The error message is now configurable. The logical prerequisite for this is activation of components EA-APPL and EA-PLM.

  • Previously, FMDERIVE required an additional rule for commitment items; a standard commitment item function call now fully supports the sales order process.
