 Using the Analytical Data Storage Wizard Locate this document in the navigation structure

Procedure

The Analytical Data Storage Wizard guides you through the necessary steps to create an ADS in mySAP CRM The wizard lists the tasks that you need to perform on the left hand side of the screen.

  1.        1.       Define Scenario

    Enter a scenario name.

    The scenario name must begin with Z or Y and have a minimum of 4 characters.

  2.        2.       Define mySAP BI System Name

    Enter the mySAP BI logical system name.

    You can use the Possible Entries dropdown box to select the mySAP BI system. This system is used to validate the fields of the ADS you are creating.

  3.        3.       Define InfoObjects

    Select the InfoObjects you want to have as fields in your ADS.

    These must correspond to existing mySAP BI InfoObjects whose status is active .

    Select as key fields those InfoObjects that uniquely determine one data record in the analytical data storage The key is already defined for an individual object ADS.

    mySAP CRM validates all the InfoObjects against mySAP BI .

    Note Note

    Calculated key figures are not generally supported and only characteristic InfoObjects can be used as key fields.

  4.        4.       Finish

    The wizard prompts you to finish .

    Choose COMPLETE to build your ADS and automatically maintain the Customizing settings for the data retraction.
