You use this procedure in the pharmaceuticals industry to create business partners with DEA addresses.

Caution Caution

There is no exchange of Customizing settings for address types between SAP CRM and SAP CRM Mobile. You must therefore create the address type DEA Address in SAP CRM and SAP CRM Mobile. Ensure that you enter the same DEA address value in SAP CRM Mobile that you entered in SAP CRM.

Procedure

Making Customizing Settings for DEA Addresses in SAP CRM

Table CMSV_DEA_MST contains the DEA masters that are used to ensure valid identifiers have been loaded into the system. It should be populated with all possible DEA data to support the validation checks. These checks occur during chargeback validation rule processing CBRECVALD.

You can make manual entries by using transaction SM30 – with the Maintain Table Views transaction.

Making Customizing Settings for DEA Addresses in SAP CRM Mobile

  1. Start Mobile System Maintenance.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Cross-Component Settings Next navigation step Choice Fields. End of the navigation path

  3. Select the DEAADRTYPE choice field or find it using the choice field search.

  4. In the Choice Field: Values subscreen, make a new entry.

  5. In the Choice Value column, enter the same value that you entered for the DEA addresses in SAP CRM.

  6. Save your entries.

  7. To transfer the settings to other mobile clients, use ConnTrans.
