You can allow superusers to use collaborative views to create views of a catalog variant for users in your organization.
You have the necessary user authorizations as a superuser
For information on setting up user authorizations, see SAP Solution Manager.
You have selected the Collaborative
Views flag in the catalog for which you wish to create the views
You have selected the Catalog Determination
flag on the Catalog
tab page in the Shop Management application
You have indexed your catalog to the TREX server
For more information on catalog indexing see, Product Catalog Indexing.
The superuser logs on to the Collaborative Views application and selects a catalog variant for which the collaborative views should be created.
The system creates a copy of the catalog variant. In doing so, the original catalog variant in SAP CRM is not affected by the changes made by the superuser.
The superuser creates a view. The superuser determines whether the view is a standard view and whether new items should be included in the view, whenever they are assigned to the original catalog variant. The superuser can assign catalog areas to the view, or individual products, and assign users for whom the view is relevant.
The user logs on to the Web shop and the system determines which view in the catalog copy the user should see. If more than one view is determined the user selects one of the views from the displayed list.
