Configuration for Shelf Management
This function allows you to create and define attributes for the Highlight Product template type. Sales representatives can use this template type to highlight specific products when they fill activity journals in the store to report on shelf management.
Using the Shelf Management/Type: Highlight Product
tile
set, you can search for the Highlight Product templates that are already defined.
Using the Shelf Management/Template: Highlighted
Products
tile set, you can create Highlight Product templates.
The procedure is similar to the procedure for creating activity journal templates.
For more information, see Creating Activity Journal Templates.
You can define the following additional properties:
You can assign products to a template using the Shelf
Management/Products/Default Values
tile set. Choose the Planogram
Products
pushbutton. A dialog box appears with all the available
planograms and the products available in each planogram. This information
is based on the PPRs related to the planograms. You can select products from
this dialog box and add them to the products list for the template.
You can define partners associations using the Shelf
Management/ Partner Assignments
tile set. The Partner
Assignments
tile contains all the modes available for associating
business partners. Using this tile set, you can do the following:
Choose Import Target Group
to navigate
to the Target Groups
tile set, and import target
groups.
Choose Target Group Members
to navigate
to the corresponding tile set, and add members.
When you choose New Target Group
,
the Partner Selection Options
dialog box appears
with two options: Selections
and Planograms
.
If you choose Planograms
and click OK
,
a list of all the business partners associated with the planogram appears.
Select the business partner whom you want to add as a new target group to
the template.
If you choose Selections
, the Selection
Details
tile set appears. The selection types are similar
to those used in activity journals.
Note
If you have provided selection criteria and searched on them, but have not created a target group, then a default target group is created using the selection name. A default target group is created even if you have provided selection criteria and saved it but have not created a target group. This happens because the target group is used for determining journals.
You can expand the Hierarchy Nodes
to
the last level. All the business partners that appear under these nodes are
valid for the template. Choose Add Hierarchy Node
to
navigate to the Business Partner Hierarchy Nodes
tile
set. A new record is created.
You can expand the Selections
nodes
to view the list of all the selections based on which the target groups were
created. You can also navigate to a position in a selection and create a new
target group for it.
