Function documentationAvailability Information in CRM Mobile

When you create or change a sales transaction in CRM Mobile Sales, you can obtain availability information for a product from SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (SAP APO).

Note Note

At this stage, you obtain availability information only. Requirements are transferred to SAP APO and the product is reserved when the sales order is transferred to SAP CRM and saved there.

You cannot obtain availability information from SAP ECC.

End of the note.

    • Start of the navigation path Sales Transactions Next navigation step Item Details End of the navigation path

When you choose Availability, a login dialog box appears, which you use to log on to the SAP APO system.

If you do not have a permanent connection to the Internet, the dial-in screen appears.

  2. After you logon to SAP APO, CRM Mobile Sales triggers availability information for the current sales transaction.

  3. The ATP Result dialog box displays the following availability information for each item belonging to the current sales transaction:

    • Confirmed quantity (in base units)

    • Confirmed date

      Note Note

The system does not obtain availability information for items not referring to products (that is, text items).

The results vary depending on Customizing in SAP APO. They can, for example, also include a suggested delivery date.

      End of the note.
  4. Close the ATP Result dialog box and save the sales transaction again to add the availability information results as an attachment to the current sales order or quotation.
