Field Assignment to Activity Journal Template Types
You can assign fields to activity journal template types by choosing 
Activity Journal Definition
Type:
Assigned Fields
in Mobile System Maintenance.
This ensures that activity journal templates that are created from this template type have the necessary columns (such as result, result reason, products discussed, and number of samples). Sales representatives can then enter values in these fields while reporting on their activities.
Note
If you are creating a template type for the Mobile
Sales Pharmaceuticals
application, select the Number
of Samples
indicator. This allows sales representatives to
log the details of samples given to a contact person.
