Retail 

Use

Activate the generic business function Retail (enterprise extension EA-RET) to use the enhancements for the SAP Retail solution.

The activation of the enterprise extension and the activation of the business function set SAP Retail are technically independent. This means that the enterprise extension Retail is not automatically activated if you activate the business function set SAP Retail. Conversely, you may also activate the enterprise extension without configuring SAP ERP as SAP Retail, in order to make available the retail-specific functions that can be used for materials and plants.

The structure package for the enterprise extension Retail is EA-RETAIL (structure package R/3 Enterprise Retail).

You activate the enterprise extension Retail via the Switch Framework also.
