To use tp , you must meet the following prerequisites:

• The transport directory must be installed. See File Structure for tp.
• The SAP Systems in your network must have different names.
• The central transport profile must be up to date. See Transport Profile.
• The target system (for imports) must have at least two background work processes.
• The source system (for exports) must have at least two background work processes.
• To call tp , log on as <sapsid>adm or <SID>OFR (for iSeries) on a host of the corresponding SAP System (source system for exports or target system for imports).

To install tp :

1. Prepare the SAP Systems.
2. Prepare the operating system users.
3. Prepare the file systems.
4. Integrate new SAP Systems .
