Function documentationWhere-Used List

The where-used list enables you to search for all CRM objects (Marketing Plans, Campaigns, Products) that use a specific digital asset, that is, the CRM objects that have a specific digital asset assigned to them.

To use this function, you must activate the business function Marketing Productivity (CRM_MKT_PRD).

Prerequisites

You have made settings in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, by choosing: Start of the navigation path Basic Functions Next navigation step Third Party Digital Asset Management Integration End of the navigation path.

Features

The where-used list lets you search for assigned digital assets in two ways:

  • Direct entry of a digital asset ID or title

  • Selection of a digital asset by using the F4 help search function

In either case, you can confirm your selection by pressing Return or by clicking Create List.

The result list presents the search results in a manner that resembles assignment blocks, where the assignment block header is the type of CRM object, for example, Products.

For editing purposes, you can select a single object, all objects of a particular CRM object type, or all CRM objects that access a specific digital asset. The following features are available to you in the where-used list:

  • Remove Digital Asset

Delete the digital asset assignment from selected CRM business objects (that is, remove the assignment from the CRM object or objects). Example: Digital asset is no longer valid.

  • Assign new Digital Asset

Assign a further digital asset to the selected CRM Business object or objects. Example: Further digital assets that have a relationship to the existing one are available.

  • Replace Digital Asset

Replace the digital asset of selected CRM business objects (that is, overwrite the assignment with another). Example: An assigned digital asset needs to be replaced by a new one

In the where-used list, you can click a CRM object hyperlink to navigate to the details page for that specific CRM object.
